You forgot to mention some key features. The lower frames were made in Germany. High quality and more desirable. When they introduced the .40 cal in early 90’s and Sig made the the slides beefer to handle the bigger cartridges, they kept the beefer slides on the 9mm versions which is why it has no recoil. The slides were made in US. With its higher bore axis and beefier slide; these SiGs are the best shooting 9mms out there period. For anyone wondering these are highly sought after and are what one calls early Sig. These were specifically made for LE in the 1990’s with the canted barrels and legacy slides.

Have you had an issue with the buffer tube twisting when tightening the castle nut? The ASAP key didn’t hold well and my stock is slighting of kilter. Happens on two separate rifles.
